My Story
Valerie Eibner

I graduated from University of Manitoba in 1972; studied for 5 years in
Interior Design and Fine Arts.
For the past 50 years I have been an active, producing Artist and
Teacher in the Visual Arts.
Pottery, Sculptures of various mediums, and Fused Glass was my choice
for creative pursuit. A rich background of design has enabled me to
complete successfully numerous Glass Commissions.
For 11 years I was part of the core group, Ars Longa. We presented 11
successful, eclectic Art Shows in Kelowna.
As an artist I have maintained the idea of creating Art Works that
stretch my perceptions and challenges the viewer to open their eyes
(hopefully) to more provocative, emotional images. I love challenging
my abilities and exploring new techniques and ways to grab the viewers
attention. Lifetime of enjoyment being an Artist.
Reside in Summerland, BC.
Recent participated in the 2021 group show, Artists of the Okanagan, in
the Peachland Art Gallery. List of all my past shows and commissions
are on my website, link below.
